Director of Costing

A dynamic leader who can manage strategically, but also understand the details enough to effectively guide the team. Coach, mentor and lead the organization’s cost accounting team. Liaise with business Finance partners on annual and quarterly cost targets. Prepare budget versus actual analysis related to product costs and factory yields. Analyze, understand and communicate costing variances to factory and business leasers.

Assume a key leadership role in the transition of the Company’s costing system to SAP, assuming an integral role in system design. Forecast product costs for all annual, quarterly, and monthly budget cycles. Financial modeling to calculate impacts of potential business strategies. Ad hoc reporting and special projects, primarily related to understanding product costs, factory output, and the enhancement of financial performance.

Work with external auditors on periodic audit requests. Monitor the Company’s cycle count process and work with Operations on process improvement.
