* ** Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $48.87 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).*
* ** Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants.*
* ** Management Preferences:*
* * Maintains and updates the Section Performance Management metrics, in coordination with appropriate Division, Section, and Branch staff.
* Executes delegated responsibility for and advises Section leadership on monitoring Section and Branch adherence to Office of State Budget and Management and Departmental and Division policies and procedures.
* Includes Approval and certification of ATC Budget Estimates, Contract Worksheets, and delegated authority for signature on Travel Authorizations, Direct Pay, Docusign and similar materials.
* Supports Section-level initiatives as assigned, including Section Business Continuity and Continuity of Operations Plans, cross-section alignment, website migration.
* Supports Division-level initiatives as assigned, including public health accreditation and workforce development activities, representation on DPH Operations Manager workgroup and coordination of HR report distribution updates.
* Coordinates planning and allocation of Epidemiology Section and Branches space needs.
* Oversees special projects related to all Branches of the Epidemiology Section as directed by the Section Chief.
* Includes DPH Budget Office, Business Office and Administration Office requests directly or assigned by Section Chief.
* Coordinates development and updating of Section Office administrative policies, procedures and protocols.
* Coordinates with the Section and Branch leadership to interpret State and Federal policies and procedures including actions by the General Assembly that could affect programming objectives and deliverables.
* Directs section managerial projects and personnel as assigned.
