We are seeking an Audiologist in our NCEENT office to be an integral member of the healthcare team and evaluate the hearing of patients with ear abnormalities and/or auditory disorders through case history, clinical observation and diagnostic tests of auditory function and plan and participate in habilitative and rehabilitative programs for patients with auditory disorders.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Independently maintains a clinical caseload in designated clinical area.
- Provides evidence-based evaluation and treatment to diverse, medically challenging patient populations.
- Completes required documentation accurately and within the designated time frame.
- Works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote best care of the patient.
- Participates in the peer review process and performance improvement initiatives.
- Takes initiative to remain current in clinical practice through lectures, literature, and other educational opportunities.
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Meets all PEP expectations and follows all Division policies and procedures.
- Doctorate in Audiology or a Master’s degree in Audiology.
- No experience required; 4th year AuD Externship/Residency is considered relevant clinical experience.
- NC licensure as an Audiologist and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or Board Certified in Audiology (ABOA) or temporary license (4th year Audiologist) issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners.
