Job Title:
Quality Microbiology Technician

Responsible for daily lab testing to support product release, equipment qualification, validation, and routine quality activities. Performs standardized assays, reviews data, maintains documentation, and collaborates with Manufacturing, Sterilization, Quality, Vendors, and Contract Labs.

• Perform Environmental Monitoring (water, air, surface) and identify contamination risks.
• Conduct QC testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods (TOC, LAL/Endotoxin, Bioburden, Sterility, Gram stain, Growth Promotion, Particulate Count, cell-based assays).
• Record and review data in LIMS; maintain complete GMP-compliant documentation.
• Manage samples, reagents, and lab inventory.
• Maintain lab hygiene, autoclaving, glassware washing, and equipment upkeep.
• Support assay validation, equipment qualification, and SOP updates.
• Coordinate workflow, troubleshoot issues, and help train new team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of pharma/biotech/medical device/diagnostics lab experience.
• Experience with: TOC, LAL/Endotoxin, Sterility Testing, EM, Bioburden, Gram Stain, Growth Promotion, Particulate Count, cell-based assays.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820.
• Strong documentation accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork.
