Autism Center of Excellence (Autism
COE) is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Durham, NC team. RBTs provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
This position is open to full-time and part-time candidates. We have a strong need for RBTs who are available during the afternoon hours of 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
, with opportunities to build additional hours based on availability.
Our mission is to help children with autism build independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills — while supporting families every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Collect and document accurate session data
- Support communication, social, and independence skill development
- Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
- Communicate professionally with caregivers and clinical team
- Participate in supervision, training, and team collaboration
- High school diploma or higher
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate work style
- Ability to follow clinical direction from a BCBA
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental needs
- Prior ABA therapy experience
- Ability to engage with children at floor level
- Ability to lift or assist up to approximately 30–50 lbs as needed
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Supportive BCBA supervision and mentorship
- Ongoing training and professional development

- Full-time is considered working 30+ hours per week consistently.
