Autism Center of Excellence (Autism

COE) is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Durham, NC team. RBTs provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This position is open to full-time and part-time candidates. We have a strong need for RBTs who are available during the afternoon hours of 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
, with opportunities to build additional hours based on availability.

Our mission is to help children with autism build independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills — while supporting families every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
  • Collect and document accurate session data
  • Support communication, social, and independence skill development
  • Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
  • Communicate professionally with caregivers and clinical team
  • Participate in supervision, training, and team collaboration
Requirements Required
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Professional, dependable, and compassionate work style
  • Ability to follow clinical direction from a BCBA
  • Comfortable working in a healthcare environment
Preferred
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental needs
  • Prior ABA therapy experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to engage with children at floor level
  • Ability to lift or assist up to approximately 30–50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to pass required background checks
