Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) and BLS certifications to join our team for a night shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital radiology department on the MRI tech unit
- Cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM (3x12 hour nights)
- Experience with both GE and Siemens MRI equipment is required
- Bi-weekly orientation provided
- Local candidates accepted at a lower travel rate if residing within a 75-mile radius
- Weekly schedule is consistent with 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts
- Assignment open to first-time travelers
- All orientation modules must be completed during the first week or annually as required
- Modules are both self-reported and facility recorded
- A minimum of 21 days is needed between booking and start date for credentialing and compliance processing
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience is strongly preferred
- Active ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required at time of consideration
- Experience with GE and Siemens MRI platforms required
- Full SSN and date of birth must be provided for consideration
- One supervisory reference from within the past year required
- Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions accepted
- License required if applicable
