The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) offers a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. As one of the campuses of the University of North Carolina (UNC) system, North Carolina Central University is located in Durham near Research Triangle Park. The Department of Communication Science and Disorders (CSD) is a full-time, campus-based graduate program and features a curriculum that integrates research, evidence-based clinical experiences, and a focus on serving populations from varied backgrounds.

The Master of Science degree program in speech-language pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The NCCU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic provides speech, language, and hearing evaluations and treatment services for clients across the lifespan.
