The Guest Services Representative (GSR) position demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in and out, collecting payments, completing front‑office paperwork, and ensuring compliance with company safety and security procedures.

• Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to guest experience.
• Assist and respond to guest requests with diligent follow‑through.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process, treating all guests and associates with respect and kindness.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures following company guidelines.
• Collect and manage all in‑house balances; maintain cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts.
• Setup, maintain, and takedown breakfast display in a timely manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area behind the front desk, in the lobby, and in guest common areas.
• Sell ESA to all inquiries (phone and in person) and convert them into reservations, meeting company standards.
• Collect relevant guest information, probe for sales leads, and identify sales opportunities.
• Conduct periodic property tours to ensure brand standards are met.
• Provide reasonable accommodation for guest requests whenever possible and practical.
• Adhere to company policies, including key control and prompt reporting of safety/security issues.

• Assist with overall hotel cleanliness and upkeep of various hotel areas.
• Engage in cross‑training in housekeeping and laundry areas as needed.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Pay range information for the position you are applying for is below. Compensation may vary based on role, level, experience, length of time in a position, and location. The Company complies with applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements.

• Proficient English communication skills to interact with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology.
• Comprehension and compliance with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Completion of routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic arithmetic proficiency in all units of measure.
• Application of good judgment at all times.
• Problem management and resolution of guest‑related issues.

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
