We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions Expert/Architect to lead the DCDEE Early Education Integration System, designing and delivering secure, scalable, and user‑focused Salesforce and integration solutions that align with the organization’s digital strategy.
Responsibilities- Architect end‑to‑end solutions and guide technical strategies and execution.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical leads, and stakeholders to transform business scope into accurate and cost‑effective technical architecture.
- Design and lead the implementation of complex API‑based integration solutions, connecting Salesforce with sophisticated external systems.
- Ensure every solution aligns with data security and performance standards, and design appropriate backup and restore strategies.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across the architecture.
- Advise on when to use standard Salesforce functionality versus custom solutions, and document best practices.
- Create high‑quality technical documentation, data modeling, and solution diagrams.
- Lead code reviews, design sessions/workshops, and release planning sessions.
- Collaborate with Agile teams in backlog refinement, user story decomposition, and acceptance‑criteria refinement.
- Assist in Salesforce environment setup, CI/CD pipeline processes, and release‑management tool configuration.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth project integration and delivery.
- Salesforce Technical Architect/Application Architect certification.
- Salesforce Integration Architect certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification.
- Copado certification.
- Mule Soft I and II certifications.
- Experience with requirements analysis and business process design.
- 7+ years of architecting and developing complex solutions in the Salesforce platform.
- Extensive experience in Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows, SOSL, SOQL, Salesforce Admin, and advanced architectural patterns, unit testing, and best test practices.
- Strong understanding and experience with all configuration aspects of Salesforce, including development.
- Experience guiding development teams on appropriate use of platform technology.
- Experience with object‑oriented design patterns and languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, C#, and Ruby.
- Experience with data migration strategies and common ETL tools.
- Experience in general mobile solutions and architecture, and understanding of on‑platform mobile solutions and considerations.
- Experience using Shield and Lightning.
- Experience with Salesforce Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
- Experience with Git Hub/Bit Bucket version control solutions.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies.
