The Solutions Delivery Lead plays a critical role in guiding and managing complex projects and key business process work streams within SAP and related financial systems. This role is a driving force behind system and process improvements, ensuring transitions are seamless and widely adopted throughout the organization.
The Lead brings deep expertise across multiple modules, quickly understanding business process challenges, and proposing pathways to resolve advanced system challenges.
- Direct the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4
HANA Finance solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives through comprehensive system analysis and optimization of SAP capabilities - Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple SAP modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, product costing, tax, treasury, and profitability analysis/management reporting, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support to ensure seamless integration and functionality
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements, including test automation and streamlined workflows, to increase operational efficiency and system effectiveness
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders, managing project timelines, deliverables, and expectations to ensure successful outcomes aligned with organizational goals
- Ensure adherence to change management protocols and internal controls throughout the solution delivery lifecycle
- Support ongoing software upgrades and maintain financial master data integrity, ensuring systems remain current, compliant, and aligned with evolving business needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 8+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a live SAP environment with a Bachelor's Degree or 6+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a live SAP environment with a Master's Degree
- 4+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience within cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functional areas
- Experience with two or more areas of SAP FI/CO modules including, general ledger, project systems, asset accounting, cost center, accounting, margin analysis, product cost controlling
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4
HANA cash management, treasury, and risk management - Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Concur, Trin Tech, or other account reconciliation software, Service Now, and GL Wand (Insight Software)
- Experience in enterprise structure design and finance master data management
- Demonstrated success with achieving results in complex situations
- Ability to convert business needs into technical requirements and design robust technical solutions
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task without compromising quality
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- SAP Certification
- Experience with standard project tasks, including Fit-Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, and training
- Familiarity with US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience in accounting or business process solutions/consulting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point
- SAP experience in Life Sciences and validated systems (preferred)
This hybrid role is located in Durham, NC, and requires reporting to the office at least three days a week. In-office requirements could increase based on business needs.
