Overview A global law firm experiencing growth in the Carolinas is seeking motivated mid-level associates to enhance its Durham, NC practice. This role will support the firm's present and ongoing caseload in Financial Investigations Defense. The office is located in Research Triangle Park, a well-known business center home to hundreds of other professional services providers and established businesses. Key Responsibilities
* Support pre-litigation and litigation efforts with diligence and precision.
* Draft legal documents, complete filings, and support senior attorneys.
* Navigate regulatory inquiries and financial investigations for the firm's clientele.
* Focus on matters involving financial investigations and regulatory proceedings.
* Collaborate on high-profile cases under the leadership of experienced attorneys.
* Work effectively and respectfully with paralegals and litigation support staff. Requirements
* Three (3) to five (5) years of focused experience in white collar crime and complex commercial litigation.
* Significant experience preparing for litigation and supporting attorneys throughout proceedings.
* Strong educational background; an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
* An L.L.M. is a plus but not required.
* Must be admitted to practice in North Carolina (NC).
* Meticulous attention to detail and structured precision in work.
