Pursue your passion for caring with Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, which is consistently ranked among the best in the United States. The largest of the four Duke Health hospitals with 1062 patient beds, it features comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, including a regional emergency/trauma center, an endo-surgery center, and more.

Perform a variety of courier and delivery duties utilizing a motor vehicle as necessary to ensure the proper distribution of laboratory specimens, research medications, blood products, and other appropriate materials to various areas within the department as well as outlying locations. Within the clinical laboratories, we embrace Duke's purpose, placing the patient at the center of everything we do. Pick
-up, sort, and deliver incoming specimens; scan outgoing materials for tracking purposes. Maintain equipment and activity log to include records of delivery activity, vehicle mileage, and other dispatch information. Maintained assigned work areas in a clean and orderly manner.

Work requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions generally acquired through partial high school education.

Work requires six months of delivery experience. The preferred candidate should have the ability to multitask and be willing to change work tasks regularly.

Valid NC driver's license.
