We are seeking a Director of Operations
for our Raleigh, North Carolina facility to lead the manufacturing operation with a relentless focus on revenue achievement and operational excellence, translating its advanced technical capabilities into predictable revenues, improved productivity, and sustained business performance.
- Propose long term technical and business strategies which shape overall investments and hiring strategies for Micross (RDU).
- Participate and coordinate marketing and sales strategies with the VP and Program Managers of MAIT, as well as other Micross locations.
- Coordinate customer deliverables with Development Engineers, Program Managers, and the Director of Engineering.
- Review, author, and sign documents related to business decisions such as, but not limited to, contract terms and conditions, nondisclosure agreements, quotation documents, and invoicing.
- Review, author, and sign documents related to building permits and facility and equipment related contracts.
- Financial Management:
Provide financial projection reports as required by the VP which are associated with financial goals of Micross. Provide capital requests for the facility and processing equipment, as well as resource requests, that are congruent with the projections provided by the Director of Engineering, Program Managers, and Development Engineers. Monitor ongoing budget reports and assure adherence to established budgets.
- Act as secondary emergency contact and coordinator for site incidents, consistent with regulatory program requirements. Participate in development, review, and compliance activities regarding site regulatory programs.
- Communicate company goals to Process, Equipment, and Facility Engineering staff and insure staffs' input is considered in capital investment and investment strategic decisions.
- Conduct performance appraisal process in support of high quality work staff.
- Recommend adequate staffing levels to achieve strategic goals.
- Support professional development of staff through training to assure knowledge level necessary for achieving company goals.
- Other tasks as may be assigned by the VP.
- BS degree in Engineering and +10 years' experience with Advanced Packaging or Semiconductor Processing, or BS and +15 years' experience with Advanced Packaging or Semiconductor Processing experience; advanced degree preferred
