Airgas is hiring for a Loader in Durham, NC. In this role you will safely and efficiently handle cylinder gases, ensuring compliance with safety standards and DOT regulations.

• Complete in‑house safety and product training.
• Safely handle hazardous materials and cylinder gases.
• Accurately load trucks for customer deliveries.
• Follow loading guidelines, methods, and safety procedures.
• Maintain premises and vehicles.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility safely.

• Use hands and fingers to handle objects and tools.
• Stand, talk, and hear frequently; walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell occasionally.
• Lift heavy loads (25 to over 100 pounds).
• Bend, stoop, crouch, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Work outdoors in various temperatures.
• Specific vision abilities required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
