Failure Analysis Technician

Greene Resources is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician to join a growing and dynamic team in Durham, NC.

• Location: Durham, NC
• Pay: $23/hour
• Experience: Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices; familiarity with hardware diagnostics and component-level analysis preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and identify root causes for device failures at multiple system levels.
• Repair failing devices and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze circuits, components, and topologies to determine marginal failures.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve hardware issues.
• Monitor ongoing reliability tests (ORT/RDT) and report findings.
• Assist with test station setup, pilot runs, and equipment development.
• Document procedures and follow established SOPs.
• Perform additional technical duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret test logs.
• Hands‑on experience with computer hardware components (CPU, NIC, memory).
• Proficiency with electronic assembly tools such as oscilloscopes, soldering equipment, and logic analyzers.
• Ability to inspect PCBs, components, and cable/harness assemblies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to demanding situations.
