Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring NC or compact license and Level I Trauma Center experience.

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI (in hand or willing to obtain during compliance)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Prior travel experience with ED background required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department, combined adult/pediatric population
• 13-week contract, day shift (3x12 hours), 11:00-23:30
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic charting system experience required
• Will be required to pass an EKG/Telemetry exam onsite
• Care for emergency patients in a high-acuity, combined adult/pediatric ED setting
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Candidates with prior permanent employment at this health system must not have worked there within the past 6 months
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration, limited to 5-7 days maximum
