Base pay range: $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Role location:
Durham, NC. Hiring 1 FT + 1 PT (weekends) to support a busy 8-doctor hospital.

Be the anesthesia-forward RVT who keeps our 8-doctor hospital moving—supporting safe procedures, clear client communication, and a smooth daily flow across a seven-day practice.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Procedure support: pre-op checks, induction assistance, primary anesthesia monitoring, recovery oversight.
  • Clinical operations: room tech duties, triage support, treatments, clear charting, and inventory/restock.
  • Client experience: translate medical jargon into friendly guidance and education; set expectations and follow-up.
  • Team flow: partner with DVMs and RVTs to keep schedules tight and patients safe in a seven-day operation.
Your Superpowers (Must-Haves)
  • Current North Carolina Veterinary Technician License
  • Available and willing to work rotating weekend shifts
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced vet hospital
  • Strong communication with pet parents and team
  • Hands-on clinical experience and proficiency with stethoscope
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures
  • Calm, confident, compassionate trouble-shooter with wiggly patients
  • Bonus:
    Fear-Free training and/or anesthesia-specific CE credentials
Schedule

We are open 7 days a week and exploring the possibility of extending evening hours. FT: 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends. PT:
Fri–Sun or Sat–Mon.
