Rate Range: $110k/yr to $120K/yr ;

Akkodis is seeking to fill a Project Quality Assurance Lead who possess strategic and detailed experience and can drive quality excellence across the development and industrialization of advanced electro-mechanical drive systems. This role ensures compliance with industry-specific standards and regulations while serving as the primary customer interface for quality-related topics throughout the product lifecycle.

• Project Quality & Risk Management
  • Lead APQP-based project quality planning, monitoring, and reporting
  • Detect deviations early and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare phase exit documentation and conduct reviews with corporate quality leadership
  • Facilitate FMEA sessions for design and manufacturing processes
  • Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies across product, project, and business domains
• Customer & Testing Interface
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer quality requirements and compliance
  • Review and implement design, documentation, and process controls
  • Coordinate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and RASI charts
  • Collaborate on verification test plans and prototype build planning
  • Ensure capable serial manufacturing processes under production conditions
  • Participate in trial runs and process approval documentation
  • Lead IQ/OQ/PQ validation efforts and create manufacturing control plans
  • Define quality criteria for electrical and mechanical components with global suppliers
  • Manage PPAP orders and review submissions
  • Coordinate metrology inspections and resolve supplier complaints
  • Review PCBA manufacturing data packages per internal guidelines
  • Partner with electronics, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to embed quality assurance
  • Lead QFD techniques and Six Sigma-based design reviews
  • Moderate maturity level reviews and maintain quality documentation
• QMS Compliance & Auditing
  • Maintain and improve IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 systems
  • Represent the organization in customer and external audits
  • Plan and execute internal/external QMS audits and corrective actions
  • Deliver QMS and process training to internal teams
• General & Administrative
  • Organize records and workflows to meet project timelines
  • Support management reviews and cross-functional meetings
  • Travel to Buehler sites and customer locations as needed

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in quality assurance
• Certified ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 auditor (preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 (Healthcare) and VDA 6.3 standards
• Experience with Automotive SPICE and OEM standards (VW, BMW, GM)
• Expertise in FMEA (preferably APIS IQ-RM), QFD, and Six Sigma tools
• Proficiency in statistical methods, metrology, and inspection planning
• Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols
• Leadership experience preferred
