• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, visitors, and patients within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and potential disturbances.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when necessary, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing clear communication.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to those on site.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
