Essential Functions- Supervise all field installers, schedule, train, and assist on installations as needed.
- Oversee compliance and safety of job sites.
- Attend job‑site weekly meetings.
- Schedule and supervise installers each day on the job sites.
- Conduct toolbox topics.
- Prepare daily reports on job sites.
- Use tools properly to ensure safety and protect quality of doors and hardware.
- Report any damaged products to supervisor.
- Analyze drawings, sketches, work orders and material safety data sheets to plan layout and assembly.
- Organize and document safety training, drug screens, and other contractual documents.
- Liaise between install teams and project managers.
- Keep detailed records of installation requirements and project specs to ensure each installation is performed correctly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Must be able to lift and carry 25–50 lbs. frequently.
- Experience using power tools, saws, drills, etc.
- Industry experience with installation of building materials preferred.
- Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong math, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
- Ability to determine the appropriate tool and equipment for a job.
This position requires physical activity typical of a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two‑thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one‑third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.
WorkEnvironment
This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions, including outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
