- Install, repair, modify, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, circuits, controls, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues on production machinery and equipment to identify root causes and implement repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Install and test electrical components, instrumentation, and control systems according to specifications
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment to diagnose and resolve issues
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications as needed
- Verify electrical systems meet operational, safety, and performance requirements
- Work with complex safety systems, interlocks, and controls while following all safety procedures
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, circuitry, controls, and troubleshooting methods
- Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic components in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to diagnose electrical problems using schematics, testing equipment, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, and related circuitry
- Skilled in the use of electrical testing tools, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and safety controls
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential equipment issues before failures occur
- Ability to work a 12-hour overnight schedule in a manufacturing environment
