Job Description Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications throughout the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement applications following the full SDLC.Design effective system architectures focusing on usability and scalability.Provide data-driven technology solutions to meet the expanding needs of the business.Design, develop, and maintain complex database processes.Analyze requirements and prepare detailed technical design documents.Provide coding and environment support for the applications team.Qualifications
Required Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or 12 years of equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in the investments domain, with a good understanding of financial products such as fixed-rate bonds (Treasury, agency, and corporate), floating-rate bonds, interest rate swaps, futures, caps & floors, FX swaps, and equities.5+ years of relational database development experience, capable of transforming business requirements into implementable designs.5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server.3+ years of experience with a procedural language such as Java or .NET, including a solid understanding of application architecture.Preferred Experience:Knowledge of financial risk management, particularly market risk or credit risk.Experience with Big Data solutions, especially Microsoft PDW/APS.Experience with BI tools such as SSAS, Qlik View, or Tableau.Experience managing onshore and offshore teams.Experience working with large tables containing hundreds of millions of rows.Travel: 10+% until end of 2015, 10–15% thereafter.
