Fidelity Investments Life Insurance (FILI) Technology team in Personal Investing seeks a talented engineer to modernize and build innovative, world‑class experiences, capabilities, and platforms to serve millions of customers in tax‑efficient savings, protection, and guaranteed income in retirement. This role focuses on Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA) for Life and Annuity products.

• Develop policy administration systems using OIPA, including configuration language, integration, AS Files, data intake, database architecture, and data extraction patterns.
• Build OIPA extensions and perform palette and application security implementations.
• Configure screens (policy, roles segment, allocation, and valuation) and manage releases.
• Implement design patterns and use UML diagrams.
• Apply Test Driven Development with JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
• Develop in IDEs such as Spring Tool Suite and Eclipse within UNIX and Windows environments.
• Write SQL queries and debug stored procedures in Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver best‑in‑class solutions.

• 4+ years of experience developing OIPA – policy administration systems.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8 and Oracle databases.
• Experience with Docker and cloud computing platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
• AWS Certification is a plus.
• Team player, self‑starter, collaborative, innovative, eager to learn daily.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor or Master in a technology related field.

• Experience with Java APIs, UI, Integration, or Migration.
• Additional cloud certifications or security experience.
