MERN Developer; Durham, NC

• Expert knowledge of NodeJS-based application development
• Deep experience with Mongo
  
  DB, including data design and performance optimization
• Broad hands-on experience with AWS-based infrastructure and deployment processes
• Working knowledge of Redis, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins
• Flexible, adaptable, with a positive "can-do" attitude
• Excellent communication skills for effective work in-office and remotely
• Ability to build modular, loosely coupled, reusable, and maintainable software components

• 25% - Lead and mentor a growing, distributed team of developers, promoting best practices such as testing, code review, reuse, and refactoring.
• 25% - Proactively troubleshoot to identify and resolve issues early, optimizing applications for stability, security, speed, and scalability. Provide hands-on support and maintenance.
• 50% - Contribute to MERN stack development, designing and implementing application architecture across multiple services and tiers. Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders.
