Staff Backend Engineer
Piper Companies is seeking a Staff Backend Developer to join an enterprise company located in Durham, NC. This is a full‑time opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Node.js, Typescript, and API/Microservices.
- Hands‑on development of Microservices.
- Advanced Node.js and Typescript experience.
- Advanced Node.js development experience.
- Hands‑on experience coding and test automation for back‑end SPAs, APIs, and SSR architectures.
- Experience with Dev Ops CI/CD practices, TDD, automated security and quality testing, modern test and mock frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with API design & development and Microservices architecture (REST, Graph
QL, Node.js).
- Salary Range: $185,000 annually.
