As a Senior Software Engineer, you will plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud‑based or internet‑related tools. You will report to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.

This is a remote opportunity.

POSITION: Senior Software Engineer

WORK LOCATION: 512 S Mangum Street, Suite 100, Durham, NC 27701 (Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S.)

• Plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud‑based or internet‑related tools.
• Guide the full life‑cycle of software development, including analysis, design, implementation and testing of new projects and features.
• Build next generation of services and APIs to support processing of data in developing novel content APIs.
• Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in a software developer‑related occupation, including 4 years in each of the following:
  • Scripting language Node.js, Vue.js, and/or React.js.
  • RDBMS SQL, MySQL, and/or Postgre
    
    SQL.
  • API security tools.
  • Distributed source control tools and development workflow, including Git and/or source‑control alternatives.
  • AWS, GCP, and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • CI/CD.
  • Testing strategies and tools.
• You’ll bring experience using AI and AI‑related technologies, ready to thrive here.

EMPLOYMENT: 40+ hours per week; $ - $ per year.

Base pay may be based on various factors such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee’s role.
