Software Engineer in Test

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer in Test to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for web applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, quality assurance, Selenium, Playwright, API testing, and CI/CD practices. This role partners closely with development and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through manual and automated testing.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test automation.
• Test web applications, REST APIs, and services to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.

• Develop creative technical solutions to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
• Design testing solutions for multiple applications and enterprise initiatives.
• Support all phases of software testing through implementation and production deployment.
• Assist with planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation.
• Perform post-deployment validation and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in defect tracking, defect triage, and issue resolution.
• Establish project plans and support multiple concurrent testing initiatives.
• Perform technical and functional analysis to support enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or software product engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium (TestNG), Playwright, and Karate.
• Experience testing web services and REST APIs.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL databases.
• Experience using Jenkins for Continuous Integration (CI).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience driving testing and quality initiatives across the software development lifecycle.

• Experience with Rest Assured for API testing.
• Experience working in Dev Ops environments.
