We are seeking a Senior SailPoint Identity IQ Lead Developer for a contract role based in Durham, North Carolina. This is a 6+ month engagement requiring deep expertise in enterprise identity and access management development and the ability to lead technical initiatives across distributed teams.
Responsibilities- Lead hands-on SailPoint Identity IQ development on complex enterprise implementations and provide L3-level support
- Design and architect solutions leveraging the Identity IQ object model, Java APIs, Bean Shell, workflows, rules, tasks, aggregation, role management, access requests, and certifications
- Plan and execute major Identity IQ upgrade initiatives from end to end
- Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, SCIM, JDBC, LDAP, Active Directory, Azure Entra , Service Now, SAP, and other enterprise systems
- Optimize application performance through debugging, tuning, and JVM troubleshooting
- Lead technical direction and mentor team members across global locations
- Communicate technical solutions and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders
- Required
- 7+ years of hands-on SailPoint Identity IQ development experience
- Demonstrated expertise in complex enterprise Identity IQ implementations
- Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE
- Experience with XML and JSON
- Experience with Java Script
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Linux and application servers
- Experience with high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) architecture
- Ability to lead autonomously and work across global teams
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business audiences
- Preferred
- Previous experience leading a major Identity IQ upgrade
- Experience with REST and SOAP integrations
- Experience with SCIM and JDBC protocols
- Experience integrating with LDAP and Active Directory/Entra
- Experience integrating with Service Now and SAP
- JVM troubleshooting expertise
