A dynamic secondary school in Durham is seeking a full-time Physical Education Teacher to join their PE department starting January 2026.

Paid on the MPS or UPS scale dependent on experience

• Teach PE across KS3 and KS4
• Lead extracurricular sports clubs and activities
• Work in a department committed to developing student fitness and teamwork

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage all abilities
• Organise and support school sports teams and events
• Contribute to departmental planning and assessment
• Participate in whole-school wellbeing initiatives

• Hold QTS with a PE specialism
• Have experience coaching sports and teaching PE
• Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
