Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We’re looking for a passionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team through a trusted supply agency. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in a caring, inclusive environment where every day brings new rewards.
What you’ll be doing :
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, helping them achieve their full potential
Assisting with classroom activities and learning interventions
Providing personal care when required, always with dignity and respect
Working closely with teachers and staff to create a positive learning experience
Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
What we’re looking for:
Empathetic and patient, with a genuine desire to help children thrive
Adaptable and resilient, ready to handle challenges with a positive attitude
Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
A team player who works well with colleagues and professionals
Understanding of SEND needs such as autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities
Committed to safeguarding and promoting inclusion
Requirements:
Previous experience in a SEND setting is desirable
Ability to provide personal care support when needed
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
