Full time cover, June 2026 to June 2027 start.

About the English Department:

The English faculty is a high achieving, well resourced team with dedicated teaching spaces and a culture of collaboration. Staff work closely together to develop engaging schemes of learning in English Language and Literature, ensuring a consistent, high quality experience for all learners.

What you'll be doing:

Delivering engaging, inspiring and inclusive English Language and Literature lessons
Demonstrating strong behaviour management with a calm, confident presence
Setting ambitious expectations that motivate students to achieve their best
Using creativity to enhance learning and drive progress
Contributing to the wider school community
You need:

Excellent subject knowledge in both English Language and Literature
Strong behaviour management skills
Resilience, commitment and passion for developing young people
Ability to thrive in a supportive team environment
