Early Years Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)
Durham, DH7
£462.80 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )
September 2026 – July 2027
The School and Role
On behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for 2 x Teaching Assistants to work in a friendly school in Durham, DH7. Working as part of an established team, the Early Years Teaching Assistants will be supporting within a Nursery unit where children have a range of needs. The role would be 5 days a week, 8.30am – 3.30pm. A minimum Level 3 qualification relating to Early Years would be essential.
The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
Experience of working with primary school aged children
Experience of working with pupils with SEND
A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
An ability to work as part of a team
