Pay: £98–£115 per day, depending on experience

Protocol Education is working with a school in North Durham looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with behavioural, emotional and additional needs
.

You'll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, developing practical skills while helping young people engage positively with school.

The Role

You'll support pupils to:

  • Manage emotions and behaviour
  • Engage positively in learning
  • Build confidence and self-esteem
  • Develop positive relationships
  • Improve communication
  • Access classroom activities
  • Develop independence
  • Overcome barriers to learning

You’ll provide a mixture of 1:1, small-group and classroom support
, depending on the needs of the pupils.
