Measured Building & Land Surveyor – Durham

£32,000 – £45,000 + vehicle | Permanent | Local work only

We are a specialist surveying recruitment agency, recruiting on behalf of a well-established land surveying company based in County Durham. Due to a growing pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Measured Building & Land Surveyor on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on role with a strong mix of site surveying and CAD production, working mainly on residential developments, commercial properties, and refurbishment projects across Durham and the North East.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out measured building surveys (houses, flats, commercial units)

* Undertaking topographic and land surveys

* Using total station, GPS and laser scanning equipment

* Processing data and producing AutoCAD drawings

* Delivering floor plans, elevations, sections and site plans

* Liaising with architects, developers, and private clients

Essential Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in measured building and/or land surveying

* Confident using total station and AutoCAD

* Experience working independently on site

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong attention to detail and professional client manner

Desirable:

* Experience with point cloud / laser scan data

* Knowledge of Land Registry–compliant plans

* Surveying qualification or working towards one
