Assistant Chief Officer; Finance Constabulary

Durham Constabulary is seeking an exceptional Assistant Chief Officer (Finance) to join the Force Executive team. • Hold statutory S151 responsibility for the Chief Constable, leading Finance, Estates and Business Administration Services.
• Provide strategic financial leadership, advice and assurance to the Chief Constable and senior leadership team.
• Drive efficiency, innovation and best practice across the Constabulary's enabling services.
• Lead organisational change and modernise enabling services to work more effectively for the organisation.

• CCAB qualification.
• Significant senior financial management experience.
• Strong finance background with appetite to lead broader organisational change.
• Subject to political restriction and police vetting.

As a member of the Force Executive, the role reports to the Deputy Chief Constable.
