With an established client base, a growing reputation and ambitious plans for the future, we're looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team at our newly refurbished office in Mandale Business Park, just outside Durham City Centre.

We're at an exciting stage in our growth: established enough to offer stability, but still small enough for individuals to make a genuine impact. You'll be joining a supportive, ambitious team where you can take ownership of your market, develop your career and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The Role

You'll manage a full 360° recruitment desk, specialising in white-collar permanent positions across the construction industry.

Working with an established client base, you'll be responsible for developing existing relationships, winning new business and delivering quality placements. You'll have the autonomy to grow your desk, with the opportunity to share your experience, support junior colleagues and play a part in the future development of Elvet.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the full permanent recruitment cycle across your market.

* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients.

* Winning new business and identifying opportunities to grow your desk.

* Sourcing, screening and advising candidates throughout the recruitment process.

* Developing your market knowledge, network and reputation as a specialist recruiter.

* Supporting and mentoring junior consultants.

* Contributing ideas and helping drive the continued growth of the business.

About You

We're looking for someone with recruitment experience who is ready to take ownership of their market and develop their desk further.

You'll be commercially minded, confident in business development and motivated by building lasting client relationships. You'll also enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting others within a close-knit team.

We're particularly interested in people who are proactive, resilient and comfortable working autonomously, with the ambition to develop both their own success and the wider business.

What We Offer

Earning potential

* Salary of £30,000–£60,000, depending on experience.

* OTE of £60,000–£75,000+.

* Uncapped commission with no threshold.

* Annual Golden Envelope Bonus of £2,500–£10,000.
