Our client is a well-established veterinary practice located in Chester-Le-Street, County Durham, offering a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team. The practice boasts state-of-the-­art facilities, including dedicated wards, a spacious waiting room, and a fully-equipped preparation area with a separate imaging suite. Their modern equipment includes digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, physiotherapy laser, and in‑house haematology and biochemistry machines, ensuring that the team can provide the best care to their patients.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality veterinary care for a variety of animals
• Perform diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and treatments using the latest technology and equipment
• Offer preventative healthcare advice to pet owners
• Collaborate with a dedicated and friendly team of professionals
• Ensure the wellbeing of animals in the practice and contribute to a positive work environment
• Competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per year

Requirements:

• A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration
• Experience in a small animal practice (although new graduates are welcome to apply)
