Our client specialises in injection moulding and tooling solutions for the Medical, Industrial and Consumer Products industries in the UK. With 60 staff across its sites in the UK and China, they collaborate closely with design consultancies to deliver bespoke products from concept to manufacture. They are looking for a highly motivated individual in the North East to build a career as a Sales Engineer in the manufacturing/engineering sector.

• Partner with a third‑party lead generation company to nurture profitable commercial relationships with design consultancies and medium‑sized OEMs.
• Communicate with UK clients and prospects over the phone, via Teams and in person.
• Deliver presentations and negotiate sales.
• Manage a selection of key customer accounts.
• Obtain all relevant project and commercial information.
• Support the preparation of quotations and the delivery of after‑sales support.
• Work closely with technical project and production teams to meet customer requirements.

• A strong desire to work in a sales capacity in the Engineering/Manufacturing sector.
• Preferably a knowledge of or interest in injection moulding and/or product development.
• A positive, professional customer‑facing attitude.
• A consultative selling style.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Salary: £37-47k pa.
• Car allowance: £500 pcm.
• Mileage allowance.
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
• Progression to senior sales.
