Gas Repairs Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Gas Repairs Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs leading renewable energy suppliers.

Job description:

* Carry out reactive maintenance and emergency repairs.
 
* Diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas appliances including boilers, fires, and cookers.
 
* Install or repair heating system pipe work.
 
* Advising customers on gas safety and energy efficiency.
 
* Undertake works in accordance with current Gas Safety Regulations and manufacturers guidelines.
 
* Prepare and maintain records of completed work using a company tablet.
 
* Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Person specification:

* Must have ACS Gas Qualifications.
 
* Full UK driving license.
 
* Must have the right to work in the UK with supporting documents.
 
* Must have a very high standard of work and be able to think for themselves.
 
* Must have a good attitude and be comfortable dealing with customers.
 
* Electrical knowledge essential, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers.
 
* Be flexible, responsive and proactive towards workloads.
 
* Repairs experience is essential
