Child & Family Worker

Position: Child & Family Worker
We are looking for experienced Child & Family Workers for temporary ongoing contracts within Durhamand surrounding areas.to support families to establish safe plans for children to remain in the care of their parents or wider network.

The service offers a 7 day service to families, however, workers predominantly manage their own diaries. There is the expectation that family members will be seen outside of normal working hours where this is needed.

The family worker has an independent role in supporting the family but this process works alongside social worker assessments.

Desirable experience - family time/contact supervision.
Essential experience - of working with children/families.
Essential - Current driving licence and access to a car
