Responsibilities of the Independent Domestic Violence Advocate:
Building strong relationships with individuals and families affected by domestic violence Advocating for survivors Reviewing support plans Signposting clients to other services Managing high risk cases Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection Providing support around housing, criminal justice, health and finances Working in partnership and collaborating with partners and stakeholders Actively engaging clients and promote involvement in the service
