What you will do
  • Lead and manage the Families First Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services to children and families.
  • Supervise and support team members, conducting regular team meetings and one-on-one supervision to foster professional development.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies and services to deliver integrated support that meets the needs of families in Durham.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with statutory duties and responsibilities, safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
  • Drive forward innovative solutions and practices that optimise team performance and service delivery.
