As our Transport Shift Manager, youll be joining our fast paced operation in Bellshill (ML4 3NP
) for our customer Wickes. This is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday 04:00 am to 12.00 pm (some flexibility required for earlier starts or later finishes adhoc). Pay, benefits and more:

Lead by example on safety, championing Health & Safety standards and creating a culture where safe working is everyone's priority Build and inspire a high-performing team, motivating drivers and colleagues to deliver exceptional results while maintaining strong morale and engagement Keep the operation moving, ensuring deliveries are on time, customer expectations are exceeded, and weekly transport plans are delivered successfully Manage driver performance and attendance, using telematics and operational data to drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement Own transport compliance, ensuring driver regulations, company procedures and audit requirements are met with confidence and accuracy What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience leading teams in a transport environment, with the confidence to manage people, performance and day-to-day operations Strong knowledge of transport compliance and driver regulations, ensuring legal requirements are met and standards never slip Calm under pressure and skilled at problem-solving, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, commercial operation A natural relationship-builder, capable of earning the trust and respect of drivers, colleagues and customers through professionalism, integrity and great communication We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
