Warehouse Operator; Temporary

Position: Warehouse Operator (Temporary)
MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Durham area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.

The Role:

* Receiving incoming goods and checking deliveries against paperwork to ensure accuracy and quality.

* Moving, storing, and organising stock safely within the warehouse.

* Picking and packing products accurately to meet customer and production requirements.

* Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling and staging orders.

* Operating forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely where trained and licensed.

* Updating stock levels using warehouse management systems or scanners.

* Carrying out regular stock checks and supporting stocktakes as required.

* Loading and unloading vehicles in line with site procedures.

* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across the warehouse.

* Adhering strictly to health & safety procedures, including PPE and manual handling guidelines.

* Working closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.

* Reporting any stock discrepancies, damages, or equipment issues promptly

The Person :

* Warehouse Experience

* Manufacturing understanding

* Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and preferably has used warehousing software previously

* Good verbal communication skills

* Strong work ethic and team player

* Ability to take & follow instructions

Hours:

Training Hours will be 08:00am to 16:30pm, £12.21 Per Hour

You will then move onto continental shift rotations

* 4 on 4 off

* 06:00 – 18:00

* 18:00 – 06:00

The Pay:

* £12.21 per hour during first few weeks training

* £15.26 Per hour on shifts
