Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance FLT) Cambuslang, Glasgow Permanent | Full-Time | Backshift The Opportunity Our client is currently looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join their busy distribution operation in Cambuslang. Working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Shift Pattern Backshift role Start times between 4:00pm and 7:00pm 8-hour shifts 5 shifts over 7 days Weekend working required on a rotational basis Shift patterns and rotas will be provided in advance to support work-life balance and allow for forward planning

Key Responsibilities Operating Counterbalance FLT equipment safely and efficiently. Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers. Moving palletised stock throughout the warehouse and storage areas. Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. Carrying out stock checks and inventory duties as required. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Following all health and safety procedures and company policies. Supporting colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.

Candidate Requirements Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential). Previous Counterbalance FLT experience within a warehouse or distribution environment. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of health and safety practices. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
