SEN Teaching Assistant Dursley ASAP Start A warm, close-knit village primary school in Dursley is seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil who truly needs consistency, patience, and understanding. The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience supporting children with Autism and/or non-verbal communication (school or care settings) Be patient, empathetic, and emotionally aware Use a calm, nurturing, and consistent approach Feel confident using visual supports, routines, and alternative communication strategies (or be keen to learn) Hold GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent) Have a genuine passion for helping young learners reach their full potential This is a hands-on, deeply rewarding role where a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant can help a child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
