We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and organized individual to join our team as a kitchen assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career and take on a rewarding role within the health and social care sector.
Main duties of the jobAs a kitchen assistant, you will support the chef in creating healthy and balanced meals and snacks, ensuring a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen area, adhering to COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols. You will work as a team player, with the ability to work independently when needed, effectively managing your time.
Additionally, you will provide support, communication, and engagement to the residents.

- £12.25 per hour
- Refer a friend scheme – earn up to £1000*
- Fully funded training up to QCF level 5

- A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential
- Part‑time contract of 18 hours available, to include alternate weekends
- Part‑time contract of 30 hours available, to include alternate weekends
- Knowledge of food safety and COSHH
- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and caring, with empathy for residents
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
