Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and organized individual to join our team as a kitchen assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career and take on a rewarding role within the health and social care sector.

As a kitchen assistant, you will support the chef in creating healthy and balanced meals and snacks, ensuring a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen area, adhering to COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols. You will work as a team player, with the ability to work independently when needed, effectively managing your time.

Additionally, you will provide support, communication, and engagement to the residents.

• £12.25 per hour

• A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
• Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential
• Part‑time contract of 18 hours available, to include alternate weekends
• Part‑time contract of 30 hours available, to include alternate weekends
• Knowledge of food safety and COSHH
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and caring, with empathy for residents
