Position: Machine Operator

Location: Cam, Gloucestershire

Pay rate: £16.21 per hour

Working hours: Early shift Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:00 Friday 06:00-13:00;
Late shift Monday to Thursday 14:00-22:00 Friday 13:00-20:00

Weekly rotation: Yes

A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their weaving department. The position is full time on double day shifts and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract.

• Operate and manage a variety of machines
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain production standards
• Log and report any issues with sub‑standard products or machinery
• Maintain an organised and tidy work environment
• Adapt quickly to new tasks and ensure flexibility in a fast‑paced setting

• At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
• Organised, proactive and able to work efficiently under time pressures

• Opportunity to secure a temporary to permanent role

Candidates currently working as a Machine Operator, Production Operative or Manufacturing Operative may be suitable for this role.
