Job Title: Deputy Store Manager
Location: Dursley
Salary: Up to £23,000 per annum plus excellent benefits and bonus
Role: Permanent

• Authentic, engaging, and uncompromising leader with fantastic leadership skills
• Proven retail or hospitality background, able to hit the ground running in a convenience store
• Experienced in managing teams of varying sizes through positive change
• Strong communication, coaching and mentoring, commercial drive and awareness
• Ability to prioritise, anticipate changes and implement recommendations
• Experience with profit and loss reports, identifying opportunities to increase sales
• Emphasis on providing the highest standards of customer service

• Lead, inspire and develop the team, spending most of the day on the shop floor ensuring every customer is valued
• Seek opportunities to stay ahead of competition and respond to changes affecting store performance
• Lead and coach the team from the front, working towards team and individual performance goals
• Take charge of people development, sales management, waste and cost control
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training and development needs
• Recruit, train and develop the store team to consistently provide product availability and responsive, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable customer service
