Our client is a fast‑growing company specialising in essential medical supplies. They are now looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Operative to take ownership of the daily flow between our Picking and Packing departments, keeping warehouse operations smooth and tidy.
This role is ideal for someone with previous fast‑paced eCommerce and high‑output warehouse experience, ideally in a small product industry, who enjoys being hands‑on while keeping a clear eye on the bigger picture.
Key Responsibilities- Act as central support between warehouse, picking/packing, and FBA workflow, ensuring both are stocked, ready, and organised.
- Coordinate daily start‑up: ensure Picking and Packing teams have what they need.
- Prepare 4–6 pallet boxes daily, refresh as needed, and manage cardboard waste.
- Support picking operations in the morning to kickstart output.
- Keep the floor and shelves tidy, clean, and safely arranged.
- Identify out‑of‑stock items during picking and action replenishment.
- Liaise with team members to plan restocking and packaging needs.
- Oversee outbound shipment readiness, including Amazon FBA and courier pallets.
- Manage Goods‑In when deliveries arrive (from small parcels to full lorries). Forklift licence valid is essential.
- Prioritise incoming stock without neglecting other areas.
- Check packing room regularly to ensure enough work is prepped for the full day.
- Communicate with warehouse staff and senior staff when needed.
- Strong warehouse background with 2 years’ experience.
- Amazon Fulfilment Centre or high‑volume eCommerce experience preferred.
- Confident taking initiative.
- Organised, dependable, and proactive in solving problems.
- Skilled at multitasking and adapting in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Forklift experience or certification (preferred but not essential).
